| Dell laptop AC adapters are made of the most rugged materials for the sake of portability and durability. The transformer casing of modern Dell AC adapters are made of extremely durable plastic to withstand any drops, kicks, or other wear and tear they may have to endure in the course of regular use. The cables themselves are also quite durable, as they are reinforced at all joints and are quite thick.
