Returns And Warranty Policy And Instructions
INITIATING A PARTS RETURN
IMPORTANT: Spare Parts Warehouse (UCR LLC) will not accept returns unless a
return authorization number has been issued.
Please initiate your return request by submitting our online
Return Request form. We will typically respond to your request via
e-mail within a few business hours of the request. If your request is accepted,
our e-mail response will contain a return authorization number and provide shipping
instructions, otherwise we will outline the reasons for rejection or ask questions
to clarify the request. If you do not hear back from us within 1 business
day, or if there is a dispute related to the request, call our toll free number,
1-877-253-8898. In order to ensure prompt customer service,
please make sure you have submitted your online return authorization request and
have your original order number available before you call.
Returns must be received in our warehouse, based on return shipping postmark
date, within the specified time frames of original shipment, and be
in acceptable condition based on the type of return. It is important to pay
close attention to return dates and to return your products immediately after receiving
a return authorization number. Returned products must meet our criteria of
acceptance before we issue a credit or ship a replacement.
If the returned product does not meet our acceptance criteria, we will make a reasonable
attempt to contact you, using the contact phone number and contact e-mail address
provided on the original order or return request, to arrange for return or disposal
of the item. Please make sure to check your e-mail, and make sure that our
correspondence is not being blocked as spam. If we do not receive a response
to rejected items within 2 weeks of our attempted contacts, including instructions
for return shipping pickup, rejected items will be discarded.
PARTS RETURN SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS
All returns must have the return authorization number clearly written, preferably
in black marker, on the outside of the shipping
box. This is critical for us to clearly identify the item when
it is received into our return warehouse. Please also include a copy of the
original sales order, packing list or invoice.

RETURNS FOR CREDIT
Under no circumstances can Acer factory direct parts be returned for credit.
Only warranty replacements will be honored.
Spare Parts Warehouse (UCR LLC) will accept returns for credit if a return authorization
is issued and the returned product is received in our warehouse within 30 days
of the original shipping date. Products must be returned with
complete original shipping and product packaging material and contents, and the
product and packaging must be in original, "as shipped" condition. All parts
returned for credit will be charged a 25% or $25 restock fee, whichever is greater.
Customers are responsible for any shipping charges and insurance associated with
products returned for credit.
IMPORTANT: Customers are responsible for correctly identifying
the parts or products that are needed for their computer or printer. If it
is determined that the wrong product was received due to Spare Parts Warehouse (UCR
LLC) error, we will provide a return shipping label to route the wrong part back
to our warehouse. Once the wrong part is received we will send the proper
part. Our restock fee will not be waived if the wrong part was ordered due
to customer error.
SHIPPING DAMAGE RETURNS
If you receive a product that is damaged by shipping, please initiate a return authorization
request within 5 business days after receipt of the package.
Do not throw away or alter any of the product and packaging, it must be in the same
condition as it was received in order for us to properly establish that the damage
was due to shipping, and not due to some other cause.
We will not accept claims for shipping damage if any of the packaging or contents
have been altered or discarded.
Depending on the original shipping source, we will process the damage claim in one
of two ways:
- For some claims, we will have to contact the shipping company and file a claim to
have the shipping company schedule a pickup and inspection of the package from the
- For some claims, we will issue a return authorization number for you to return the
package to our returns warehouse, following the normal return procedure.
After we are able to properly establish that the product was damaged during shipping,
Spare Parts Warehouse will replace damaged parts free of charge based on our
Warranty Replacement policy. If the customer chooses to return the
product for credit, our Return for Credit policy will
apply, including restock fee.
Spare Parts Warehouse will replace defective parts free of charge if defective products
are returned within the warranty period. We will only issue refunds on defective
products if a replacement is not available.

All parts that are returned under warranty will be inspected prior to replacement
approval. We will not accept returned products that exhibit evidence of liquid
spillage or physical damage due to customer use.
Replacement options: Customers can elect two methods of replacing
- Get your return authorization number, return your product, and we will ship your
replacement free of charge after receiving and inspecting your returned products.
- If you urgently need your replacement, you can elect to purchase the replacement
product at full charge and we will credit your original purchase after inspecting
your returned product.
LAPTOP REPAIR WARRANTY
UCR provides a 90 day labor warranty for board level, DC jack, and LCD bulb repairs,
and a 6 month labor warranty for all other repairs. Replacement parts used
for laptop repair services will follow the same warranty policy as parts purchased
on this web site.
Laptop Repair warranty claims will only be authorized if the laptop displays the
exact symptom and problem originally described when the repair was requested.
UPS Ground Shipping costs for Laptop Repair warranties will be covered by UCR.
